My client is a leading provider of well testing services and completion flowbacks - both onshore and offshore and has been for over 3 decades. They urgently require Service Supervisors to take part in this multi million dollar project. The main purpose of the Wireline Service Supervisor is to perform Cased Hole Services (Electrical) operations on location, and to supervise more junior engineers. Services include Production Logging, Calipers, Perforating and related services. Required Knowledge and Experience • Degree or equivalent qualification i.e. HNC in Electrical Engineering. • Extensive experience in wells related subjects including the specific technology being provided • Minimum 5 -7 year’s relevant oilfield experience. Must be fully competent on all E-Line Cased Hole tools including PLT, Calipers, CBL, and E-Line perforating • Effective communicator – able to keep the Client and Management informed at all times • Experienced in the preparation, maintenance, safe deployment and efficient operation of Electric Line wireline equipment for cased hole applications in a Subsea environment. Responsibilities • Initially to field test the project winch on land location prior to taking it Subsea. • Compiling comprehensive, unambiguous and complete end of job reports. • Successfully operating and having sufficient working knowledge of Cased Hole Services (Electrical) equipment that you are required to use. • Producing instrument performance reports and equipment status sheets on completion of the job and ensure they are copied to the Maintenance Supervisors. • Remaining fully informed on software changes, tool upgrades and recent operational problems. • Supervising and co-ordinating operators on/at the job location • Attending pre and post test Client meetings when required. • Training other engineers in specific areas of your expertise when required. • Standing in for the Operations Manager/Operations Support Engineer on request. • Preparing & implementing Cased Hole Services projects or campaigns with minimum supervision. • Should also be competent and capable in presenting Log Data to Client On-site Engineer.
