My client has been a leading provider of well testing services and completion flowbacks - both onshore and offshore - for more than 30 years, require Service Supervisors to take part in a multi million dollar project. This role will be based in Aberdeen and offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The main purpose of the position is to perform Cased Hole Services (Electrical) operations on location, in a professional, competent and safe manner in order to satisfy the client’s requirements. Services include Production Logging, Calipers, Perforating and related services. Job Knowledge and Experience • Degree or equivalent qualification i.e. HNC in Electrical Engineering. • Extensive experience in wells related subjects including the specific technology being provided • Minimum 5 -7 year’s relevant oilfield experience. Must be fully competent on all E-Line Cased Hole tools including PLT, Calipers, CBL, and E-Line perforating • Effective communicator – able to keep the Client and Management informed at all times • Experienced in the preparation, maintenance, safe deployment and efficient operation of Electric Line wireline equipment for cased hole applications in a Subsea environment. Duties • Initially to field test the project winch on land location prior to taking it Subsea. • Able to compile a comprehensive, unambiguous and complete end of job report. • Flexible and adaptable • To successfully operate and to have sufficient working knowledge of Cased Hole Services (Electrical) equipment that you are required to use. • To produce instrument performance reports and equipment status sheet on completion of the job and ensure they are copied to the Maintenance Supervisors. • Communicate to Line Supervisors/Manager any concerns, suggestions, ideas and improvements. • Remain fully informed on software changes, tool upgrades and recent operational problems. • Must be able to supervise and coordinate operators on/at the job location • Assist in the base, making reports, packing kits etc. when required. • Attend pre and post test Client meetings when required. • To train other engineers in specific areas of your expertise when required by the Operations Manager. • To stand in for the Operations Manager/Operations Support Engineer on request. • To prepare and implement Cased Hole Services projects or campaigns with minimum supervision. • Should also be competent and capable in presenting Log Data to Client On-site Engineer.
