Responsible for leading of all personnel on site regarding technical issues during drilling operations. Responsible for leading of AD technical personnel and coordination of rig constructors technical personnel when rig is in drilling operation. Responsible for daily report to Rig Manager and Technical Manager Responsible to ensure that the different tasks related to the technical equipment are solved in an efficient and safe manner. Responsible when the rig is in operation to find the right operational “windows” to accomplish planned tasks. This could also involve coordination with personnel from rig supplier or other service personnel. This needs cooperation with Tool Pusher with reference to the drilling program. Responsible to familiarize with all relevant company procedures related to the technical equipment, safety issues, checklists e.g. for different work operations. This also includes an active part to keep the work permit system up to a high practice standard. Responsible to o foresee upcoming issues and situations to make the right planning and decisions. The goal is to avoid downtime of the technical equipment or loss of ability to perform as expected. Technical Site Manager is expected to have an active part regarding communication with local suppliers of spare parts and other services needed, related to the technical equipment. Responsible to establish communication with e.g. Technical Manager, Electrical Manager, Project Manager or HR Manager whenever assistance is needed to solve complex issues related to their different responsible areas. Play an active part to ensure that the personnel involved in the different work tasks, are qualified and have the understanding needed to perform in a sufficient manner. Technical Site Manager must be familiar with the maintenance and logistic program – MAINTelligence (MT) and use this program to plan and report (in addition to other specified reporting formats).
