Chief Mechanic - Jack Up - Egypt This small but up and coming drilling contractor is urgently seeking to recruit a Chief Mechanic to work on a Jack Up Rig based in Egypt. The rig is currently being re-commissioned in Egypt and will then move on elsewhere to drill. Your duties will consist of, amongst others, planning and then ensuring the routine maintenance of all mechanical equipment on board, you will also be responsible for preventative maintenance of all equipment to avoid down time, you will maintain stock control and ensure adequate stocks are kept on board, you will make sure your staff are properly trained and are kept informed of company policy. You must have previous experience, (minimum of 3 years), working as a Chief Mechanic offshore on a Jack Up Rig. You must also be in possession of valid offshore survival certificates. An extremely competitive package is available for the right candidate. Rotation will be 4x4.
