2nd Mate - Drillship - Singapore, India This innovative niche player, is looking to recruit a 2nd Mate to work on a Drillship which is currently being overhauled and re-commissioned in Singapore, thereafter it will be drilling in India. They are looking for people to join them in or around March 2009. Your duties will consist of, amongst others, training all watch personnel on bridge in the use of navigational equipment and safe navigational practices, ensure that operational checklists are kept for all watches and that the procedures are correctly carried out by each watch, responsible for navigational operations, reports, supplies, resources, equipment and maintenance of the ship and making sure that all rig crews are operationally ready and ensures VERTREP carried out correctly. You must have a minimum of 3 years offshore experience working as a 2nd Mate on a Drillship or on a Semi Rig. You must also be in possession of the valid STCW 95 II/1 Certificate and Medical Care Onboard Certificate, and valid offshore survival certificates including an HUET. An extremely competitive package is available for the right candidate. Rotation will be 4x4.
