The position is for a Derrickman to work with a premier global offshore oil and gas drilling contractor, working on a newly refurbished Jack up rig. They have a number of new rigs and have invested heavily in the upgrade and servicing of their existing fleet . You will report to and carry out the instructions of the Assistant Driller and the Driller. You will be responsible for the supervision of Floorhands and Labourers on the drillfloor, managing and supervising mud pumps, and other general duties. It is essential that you have at least 2 years experience working as a Derrickman on any kind of offshore Drilling installation. You must also be in posession of valid offshore survival certificates.
