Derrickman - Semi - Ghana The position is with a company that provides both exploration and production services to the offshore oil and gas industry who have more than 35 years experience of offshore drilling. The vacancy is for a Derrickman to be based in Ghana on a Semi Rig. You will report to and carry out the instructions of the Assistant Driller and the Driller. You will supervise Floorhands and Labourers. Your duties will include but are not limited to; supervising the mud pump room and controlling the drilling fluid, checking pit volumnes for losses or gains, keeping the driller and mud logging engineer advised any time mud is being moved between pits. It is essential that you have at least 2 years experience working as a Derrickman on any kind of offshore drilling installation. You must also be in possession of valid offshore survival certificates. The rotation will be 4x4.
