This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Barge Engineer to work for one of the leading drilling contractors in the world. They have a Jack up rig, currently being refurbished in the shipyard, and are looking for a Barge Engineer to come on board and work on a 28x28 rotation. As Barge Engineer on the rig, you will be responsible for co-ordinating all activities on the rig, with particular involvement in rig moves and ensuring rig stability when on location. You will have previous experience working as a Barge Engineer working on a Jack up rig, and will have been in charge of several rig moves. Possession of an STCW95 Masters licence is essential, as are full offshore survival certificates and a full UKOOA medical.
