Assistant driller required to join one of the market leaders in providing drilling services across the entire globe. This organisation are at the forefront of technology, and are currently undergoing a massive up-scaling operation of their rig fleet. The role will be based out of the US Gulf. Reporting to the Driller, you will be participating, directing and assisting in all drilling activities on the rig floor, with a view to ensuring a safe and punctual execution of all drilling, completion and work-over programmes. You will be responsible for monitoring and advising others of changes in mud characteristics and levels, ensuring maintenance and repair of equipment is carried out as required, and ensuring that the health and safety of all involved in the rig is paramount. You will have at least 3 years experience working as a Driller on an offshore Semi-Submersible drilling rig, and will be in possession of a combined IWCF certificate or equivalent.
